Moody’s Cut UK Credit Rating Outlook to Negative on Political Chaos

Britain has had weeks of turmoil which was reflected in extreme volatility in the British pound and Gilts eventually leading to the resignation of Liz Truss as Prime Minister. Moody’s Warns Fiscal Deterioration Puts Downward Risk on U.S. Credit Ratings

Moody’s issued a report on the U.S Debt structure saying America’s stable credit profile is likely to face downward pressure in the long-term due to “meaningful” fiscal deterioration and a widening Federal budget deficit.
