Semiconductor giant Intel Corp $INTC announced better than expected fourth-quarter earnings after the market close Thursday sending the stock up almpst 10% in early markets and the Dow Jones to another record high.
Software giant Oracle reported better than expected second quarter earnings but misses on Cloud infrastructure and platform revenue has seen the stock $ORCL fall 4.5% on Friday. $ORCL also lower it’s outlook, this followed lowered guidance in Q1.
Autodesk $ADSK shares were wrecked 13% lower after it announced a surprise restructuring plan with quarterly earnings Tuesday. ADSK said the plan was part of it’s cloud growth phase. The software company will layoff 1,150 employees with the plan.
Cloud enterrpise software firm Salesforce.com $CRM reported better than expected adjusted fiscal second quarter earnings after the market Tuesday. CRM raised guidance with unbilled deferred revenue ended Q2 at $10.4 billion.
Consumer electronics giant Apple $AAPL reports fiscal Q3 results on Tuesday after the market close. Investors however are focused forward to the company’s 10th-anniversary iPhone 8 due out this fall. How much will DRAM and NAND prices affect margins?
