The EIA releases it’s weekly natural gas storage report each Thursday at 10.30 ET, the key data point for natural gas traders outside of weather modelling. This week another build is expected.
EIA’s Weekly Gas Storage Report Report Date: 9/28/17
Release Time: Thursday October 5 2017 10:30 ET
Natural gas futures continue to in lackluster fashion under $3.00 with the upside risk Cheniere Train 4 as LNG feedgas demand and exports to Mexico continue near all-time highs. Forecasts look normal for next week but nothing constructive. Bets will start being placed on 4T storage at year end at this pace. At the S&P Global Platts Energy Forum TC got the distinct feel that many of the Natgas players were bullish, keep that in mind though to be fair the partipants were skewed to the oil side. Great speakers and we will share some thoughts later on the site.
