Moolec has created two products so far:

  • Chymosin, which is a protein used in cheesemaking that it produced in safflower;

The timeline in the investor presentation targets commercial release of these 2 existing products in 2025.The company is scaling these up and is working toward a diverse portfolio with over 20 patents globally.

Given this and the history of SPAC one has to wonder how long before it goes to the markets for more money.

Moolec has positioned as a B2B provider of ingredients for and from molecular farming. The purpose is to replace proteins derived from animals and to improve alternative protein products. In their investor presentation, Moolec sees a total addressable market of $65 billion.

The company also is working on two meat protein products: POORK+ and BEEF+.

  • POORK+ adds pork protein to soy plants
  • BEEF+ adds beef protein to pea plants.

The company says these can be used as enhancements to meat analogs and is targeting commercial launches in the next five years, according to the presentation.
