ParticipantUPDATE Chevron has reportedly sold their first condensate cargo from the Wheatstone LNG project in Australia to PTT based in Thailand. The 650 Mbbl cargo will be loaded in February and shipped out.
The condensate is being produced from the Wheatstone & Lago natural gas fields, which are generating 30 Mbbl/d in ultra light oil.

KeymasterChevron Begins Service on Wheatstone LNG Train 2 in Australia

Chevron has reportedly begun commercial operations of the second train at the Wheatstone LNG facility in Australia. This if their final of five LNG trains built out in Australia, with total costs thus far of $88 billion. Wheatstone now has a total capacity of 8.9 Mtpa.
“With the Chevron-operated Wheatstone and Gorgon LNG facilities now operational, we are delivering a significant new source of energy for customers in the region,” Chevron Australia Managing Director Nigel Hearne said in a statement on Friday
