Facebook Inc.’s proposed acquisition of Kustomer Inc. under the EU merger regulation.[/b][/color]The European Union’s executive arm said the proposed transaction could reduce competition
in the customer relationship management software market.An additional concern is that the deal would allow Facebook to further strengthen its position in
the online display advertising market through an increase of its already significant amount of
data available for ad personalization, the Commission said.On July 30, the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority said it had started a merger
investigation into the proposed deal.
