Analysts expected Apple to earn $1.57 a share on sales of $44.89 billion in its fiscal third quarter.
Apple $AAPL +3.4% in after-hours trading in regular session Apple rose 0.9% to 150.05.

Keymaster^^^ YES – APPL is the SWISS WATCH of mobile phone OEMs (although Samsung is now the most state of art by far) … They are more expensive but you do get some great quality in manufacturing 🙂 And this is simply a continuation of one of my favorite tech heros of all time, as well as the new team in place ….. even though I use very few of products – I still admire the company as an IT guy 🙂

Participant$AAPL sold 41.03MM iPhones in 3Q17, up 2% from the prior-year period. Revenue generated from iPhone sales grew 3% to $24.84Bil.
Apple sold 11.4MM units of iPad and 4.3MM units of Mac during the quarter.

ParticipantiPhone-maker $AAPL reported 7% increase in revenue to $45.4Bil in 3Q17. The company witnessed a slowdown in its revenue growth during the quarter due to a pause in iPhone sales, as many customers are awaiting the launch of the much-hyped iPhone 8.
Net income grew to $8.72Bil, or $1.67 per share, compared to $7.8Bil, or $1.42 per share a year ago.

RBC expects big gains into and after the iPhone 8 launch based on its historic launches and notedthat Apple should become the first $1 trillion company in history (versus $827 billion today).
Apple has a 52-week range of $102.53 to $161.83.
