US Consumer Services Inflation Still Rising, 7.5% in December from 7.2% in November

    Export prices fell 0.3% in November following a revised 0.4% decline in October (from -0.3%).
    Export prices, excluding agriculture, fell 0.6% after a 0.3% decline in October.

    Import prices fell 0.6% in November after a revised 0.4% decline in October (from -0.2%).
    Import prices, excluding #oil, fell 0.4% following a 0.1% decline in October.

    Latest survey of Consumer Expectations from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York showed that year-ahead inflation expectations decreased to 5.0% from 5.2% in November while three-year expectations remained at 3.0%, and five-year expectations ticked up to 2.4% from 2.3%.
