    European Central Bank policymaker Visco said that he does not see signs suggesting that bond spreads will widen to levels that will warrant action from the ECB.
    Policymaker Nagel said that the German economy is likely to show a contraction for 2023 and that inflation has likely passed its peak.
    Bank of England Governor Bailey said that policy has to remain restrictive while Chancellor Hunt said that the U.K. is now in worse fiscal shape than it was in the spring.
