Credit Suisse Greater China Technology and Internet Conference.Tesla (TSLA) and Rivian Automotive (RIVN) will be on watch with highly anticipated Q4 deliveries reports expected in.
Chinese electric vehicle automakers Nio (NIO), Li Auto (LI), and XPeng (XPEV) will also report on monthly deliveries amid some concerns on demand.
Tuesday – January 3
Healthcare watch –
Bank of America tipped that earnings pre-announcements could jolt shares of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (ALNY), Amicus Therapeutics (FOLD), Neurocrine Biosciences (NBIX), and Ultragenyx (RARE). Meanwhile, healthcare companies that could provide updates regarding launch metrics on new products and FY22 revenue in early January include Apellis Pharmaceuticals (APLS), argenx (ARGX), and Ascendis Pharma (ASND).
Execs with Nvidia (NVDA) will share some of the company’s latest innovations ahead of the highly anticipated CES trade show in Las Vegas.
8:30 a.m. Edgewise Therapeutics (EWTX) plans to host a virtual investor call to cover preclinical results for its lead cardiac program candidate, EDG-7500.
Wednesday – January 4
Earnings watch – Notable companies due to report include Simulations Plus (SLP).
All day – Shareholders with Mount Rainier Acquisition Corp. (RNER) will vote on the proposed merger with Israeli firm HUB Cyber Security.
All day – Shareholders with CENAQ Energy Corp (CENQ) will vote on the deal to take Bluescape Clean Fuels public in a SPAC deal. Bluescape Clean Fuels supplies gasoline derived from renewable feedstocks.
All day – LG Display (LGL), Panasonic (OTCPK:PCRFY), Samsung (OTCPK:SSNLF), Sony (SONY) will hold press conferences at the CES trade show in Las Vegas. Also watch Blink Charging (BLNK) and Himax Technologies (HIMX) for new product announcements, as well as Caterpillar (CAT) for an autonomous tractor demo.
All day – AMD (AMD) will be watched closely with execs scheduled to make one of the more notable keynote addresses at CES.
