    Summary

    Working gas in storage was 2,584 Bcf as of Friday, January 12, 2018, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decrease of 183 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 368 Bcf less than last year at this time and 362 Bcf below the five-year average of 2,946 Bcf. At 2,584 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
