Shell Increasing Shale Production by 200 Mboe/d Through 2020;…
Shell intends to drive their shale production up by 200 Mboe/d through 2020 with a focus on developments in the Permian Basin and Fox Creek Duvernay. Permian production has already risen 75% in 2017 to 80 Mboe/d. This production growth will be achieved with an average break-even price of $40/bbl and Shell is forecasting organic free cash flows of $1-2 billion by 2019-2020.
