ACC GAME of YEAR … UVA v. DUKE at 2pm (CBS=TV, WFIR=radio feed)
Lots of great games today … DUKE is so talented all coach has to do is roll ball out on floor
Marvin Bagley III may be the next Dunkin’ Donuts
(a “20-20” type & best player in college I have seen this year)
Whether UVA wins or loses — should be a great game by 2 of greatest coaches πŸ™‚

Hoos win for the first time at Cameron Indoor since 1995

If Duke had played ZONE D instead of Man-to-Man at the start of the game, Duke would have won.

The other difference maker in the game was the bench.
UVA had 14 bench points; Dukes reserves totaled six minutes

What this game showed the UVA players is that it can shutdown any team they play
Duke had the No. 2 offense coming into Saturday. Virginia had the best defensive rating

Wishing “David” very best of luck in taking on the “Goliath” of BB πŸ˜‰
Would love to see UVA hit that rare spot of #1 in the polls :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Although that would be a miracle as VILLY has awesome talent 8)
Game is on FOX TV now (plus Maryland v. Mich State on CBS-TV) πŸ™‚
I’m suffering from a sickness called MARCH MADNESS πŸ˜†

85-82, that was close
and Mich State had a nice comeback

I got the Purdue vs Indiana game on now
(while everyone else is watching the Football or Hockey all-star games)

Devon Hall & Mamadi Diakite & De’Andre Hunter all missed practice

Hunter was out due to his ankle (game time decision) and Hall/Diakite are sick

Yes — the FLU is super bad in our church & at work … in fact, I had a frozen pizza with GHOST peppers — where I loaded up on vitamin “C” and hand washed & avoided folks like the plague … in fact, I plan to telecommute next 2 days as this is most potent strain since swine flu a decade ago :woohoo: I still hope UVA plays that excellent defense … Duke, UNC, Louisville, Kentucky, etc. all get the pick of the litter when it comes to all Americans. Duke is actually #1 in talent as Bagley III was a 30-20 type star in one game early in season I saw on TV — that left lasting impression — he’s just like the great Houson NBA star :).

As of Jan. 30, UVA ranks first nationally in scoring defense (52.1 ppg) and winning percentage (95.2%), second in fouls per game (14) and turnovers per game (9.2), third in field goal percentage defense (37%), fifth in 3-point field goal percentage defense (29.1%), sixth in turnover margin (5.4), seventh in scoring margin (16.8), 14th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.46) and 22nd in free throw percentage (76.8%).

>>>> Six opponents (UNCG, Austin Peay, Savannah State, North Carolina, Georgia Tech & Clemson) have committed more turnovers than made field goals.
