One of best of San Francisco bands to emerge in late 1960s esp. LIVE performances
On April 3, 1982, the album The Great White North by Bob & Doug McKenzie with guest Geddy Lee peaked at No 8 on the US Billboard 200 The song ‘Take Off’ rose to No16, higher than any Rush song would chart on the US top 40. Rush’s biggest hit New World Man, only reached No 21.

The 1979 album is a masterpiece that I heard compares well with Led Zepplin IV as one of all time greats … and indeed I saw that quality while fixing a round of chilli last night 🙂
