Participant$GE’s stock falls (-1.26%) after Moody’s says ‘mounting’ challenges outweight dividend cut benefit
Moody’s says any cash flow benefit from the halving of the dividend will be outweighed by “mounting end-market challenges.”

ParticipantNebraska regulators voted their approval on Monday for TransCanada Corp’s Keystone XL pipeline route through the state, lifting the last big regulatory obstacle for the long-delayed project that U.S. President Donald Trump wants built.
The 3-2 decision by the Nebraska Public Service Commission helps clear the way for the proposed 1,179-mile pipeline linking Canada’s Alberta oil sands to U.S. refineries, but is likely to be challenged in court by the project’s opponents who say it poses an environmental risk.

ParticipantThe U.S. Department of Justice sued AT&T Inc on Monday to block its $85.4 billion acquisition of Time Warner Inc, saying the deal could raise prices for rivals and pay-TV subscribers.
The lawsuit is the first major challenge to a merger by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly criticized Time Warner’s CNN news unit and announced his opposition to the deal last year, saying it would concentrate too much power in AT&T’s hands.
