Where have we been and where are we — wishing all a safe & good week ahead
Hopefully today might be a turning point with national day of prayer
Our son works for hospital & is well protected — but we all have these type concerns
Statistics are getting a little worst daily — as EU & USA are in early stages
compared with China which appears to be peaking & stabilizing?

This is an event of century — as 9/11 or “Katrina” never closed ALL public activities.
Short term we may have very quick DEPRESSION or recession like numbers
but hope good old USA prevails & virus soon completely gone from landscape

Good Monday morning to all — and hope all stay safe & do best they in tough times
with all SPORT events cancelled — I saw college BB re-runs of last year
and all bars & restaurants are being shutdown

DOW FUTURES = -1,000 limit down – so we’ll hit 7% 1st circuit breaker
but hopefully not the 13% for #2 and 20% for #3

FED just went to ZERO interest rates & QE-like buying mode
and infusing TRILLIONs in liquidy & we’ve reentered 2008-2009 again
with daily 1,000 point swings — so we are in unstable times

as I shared with some of my market savy friends at work
this black swam event will be worst than 9/11 impacts on temporary basis
in about 4-8 weeks COVID-19 should die down naturally
as warmer temps help & lets hope current patterns hold
as viruses can mutate to new strains from RNA human interactions

Still MARCH 15 was National Day of Prayer — so there is HOPE again
and I’m staying isolated & bunkered down in deep forests of SW VA
The deer & I are making best of bad situation for couple of months 🙂

WOW – while there is potential to hit 2nd Circuit Breaker
here’s hoping we hold as we fell to 11% & as bumble bounce back to -9%
VIX is off charts …. DOW LOW so far = 20,387.10
Maybe there hope off in distance — once things improve
as maybe it’s only 4 week vacation for economy, man, and the herd?

Good TUESDAY morning to all … DOW futures are GREEN & higher for now (+200)
as EU & Asian markets have had wild swings overnight
as SELLOFF was historic last week & on Monday
and certainly reflects a lot of unknowns & short-term economic disaster
and we’ll have to wait quite a while to get COVID-19 & its impacts behind us

HAPPY SAINT PATRICKS DAY to ALL

A crisis can be a transformative event. When things returns to some kind of normality, assuming it ever does, will people think about doing things differently in the future?
