    MLK – U2

    Sleep
    Sleep tonight
    And may your dreams
    Be realized
    If the thundercloud
    Passes rain
    So let it rain
    Rain down on him
    Mmm
    So let it be
    Mmm
    So let it be
    Sleep
    Sleep tonight
    And may your dreams
    Be realized
    If the thundercloud
    Passes rain
    So let it rain
    Let it rain
    Rain on him

Doublelines Gundlach Continues to Pull Back – leaving Twitter

For bulls living in a BTFD, this time it’s a difference the “Bond King” leaving Twitter will give them someone less to blame. For the Cautious risk aware investor it is one balancing voice gone unless they find another source IMO

Jeffrey Gundlach recently said he would no longer appear on CNBC due to biases critical comments from CNBCs Jim Cramer, yes Cramer who never gets it wrong, please. Cramer said Gundlach should stick to bonds and not equities.

Gundlach said today saying he will be deleting his Twitter account @TruthGundlach. When asked before deleting his account if he would be setting up an alternative account, his response was “No”.

    This hasn’t helped either:

U.S. Existing Home Sales Plummet to Three Year Low

US existing home sales tumbled 4.99M v 5.24M expected, down -6.4% v -1.5%. Mortgage data has been stronger in 2019 so perhaps housing numbers pick up in the coming months with the Fed being flexible on rates.

France Business Confidence barely hanging in there at 102 from 103

The French industrial sentiment indicator stood at 103 in January 2019, unchanged from December and matching market expectations. It is the weakest reading since November 2016, as manufacturers remained pessimistic about the general production prospects for the sector with the corresponding index virtually stable at the lowest level since January 2015 (-11 from -10 in December) and below its long-term average.

Manufacturing confidence 103 vs 103 expected
    Prior 104; revised to 103

Business confidence steadies relative to December but still holds at two-year low.
