I do hope for good of nation – that folks can come together some. #45 in a Patton-like manner at times (lol) is doing what he feels better helps nation long term. Both sides know that 45 can best get accomplished now while house is “R”..

    I can’t understand why $2B could not be appropriated for better security (and to be best appropriated as security experts determined … as even #44 and many of GOVT leaders have a wall around their homes, So I also see need for WALL in certain sections of border & if we can guard area 51 I know we can improve for improved security — if powers that be wish do so.

    I don’t even wish to get into politics or media coverage (as the anti 45’ers abound – lol … but mainly to hope for better days in 2019 🙂 Still, I believe things will work out soon as voters will be influenced by these actions[/i][/color][/size]

    US trade balance and wholesale inventories reports postponed by US Commerce Dept due to the government shutdown, so today’s scheduled reports
    The Chicago PMI and pending home sales will be released as scheduled.

    December Chicago PMI 65.4 vs 60.3 expected, Prior 66.4

    Prices paid rose at a slower pace
    Employment rose at a slower pace
    Production rose at a faster pace
    New orders rose at a slower pace
    3 components rose vs 5 prior

    This is the reverse of the dismal Richmond Fed number
