Just attended an “all company” meeting — as one fears the reaper
these days when it comes to LAYOFFs, etc
Good news overall as IT services we are set for work-from-home anyway
But certainly customers who are shutdown & cash flow critical to keeping us employed

And even better than expected — no layoffs or salary decrease in near term
(as other ways to lower expenses are underway)
Non-cash benefits like “401 k match” & “freeze on all salary increases” are likely
And counting our blessings — As this is just small snapshot of what everyone is doing

and a song of joy by voice of angel to celebrate good news so far 8)

Wall street could be getting too much optimism as COVID-19 stats are growing geometrically
Still, the recent rally & awesome day yesterday — help hold up things until better days arrive ahead :)

Super Moon tonight … please check it out as skies are clearer than have been in years πŸ™‚

And a good WED. to all …. EQUITIES are in RALLY MODE (DOW +550)
The “BERN” also finally concedes & VP JOE will be “D” candidate if all we all make to November – lol

even mother nature is upset — as 2020 is year of the RAT & BAT πŸ‘Ώ
on very edge of serve t-storm zone in SW VA :woohoo:

Super Harley

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management says time to get into equities after sharp decline
via Bloomberg

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management managing director of the investment strategy group Silvia Ardagna on Wednesday with Bloomberg

He expects a sharp near-term decline in global economic activity and forecast a V-shaped rebound in the second half of the year

“positively impressed” by the of policy response measures won’t prevent a recession in H1 will likely fuel a powerful recovery.
particularly favours US stocks on optimism for a strong economic recovery after the end of the virus lockdowns
“Our own advice to clients is that right now is a good time to get back into markets and take advantage of the decline in equity markets to position for the rebound,”

One of my favorites of all time — as it’s on bucket list to drive on this highway one day 8)
and In honor of GERMANY who has best STATs of all major nations
as they did strict testing & acted early to keep lethal rates among lowest :)

Good Thursday to all … Wishing a good & safe & blessed day to all
Many churches celebrate communion & “Last Supper” this evening & holy week for many faiths 8)

DOW futures fell some on 6.6 MILLION new job losses this week
17 million overall — FED is giving helping some special “lending support” in new program
and futures are SOARING … +300 on DOW & climbing πŸ™‚
All STATs are UNDERSTATED & a trailing barometer (including COVID-19 category) 😳

It’s kind of like the scrutiny #45 is getting in “why didn’t you know & do something in NOVEMBER”?
the same folks questioning quarantining & isolation in China travel back in early FEB 2020
and no matter what — #45 has made enemies in media & won’t win those type battles
but have faith we’ll win — as warmer months will dry up virus membranes to greatly reduce spread
(as learned in college courses) — but COVID-19 could come roaring back in FALL :woohoo:

Victory will eventually come — but it won’t be EASY ;)

HOLY COW — another $2.3 TRILLION backing by FED
And between ADMIN, Congress, and FED –the purse is unlimited
but we do have to borrow from our future GDP to get thru bad times

we are going be so deep in debt & pass all that on to descendants
FUTURE GENERATIONS will be upset as “Prisoners of DEBT”
And they will come viisting in TIME MACHINE & get after us πŸ˜‰ :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Dow 23,719.37 285.80 1.22%
S&P 500 2,789.82 39.84 1.45%
Nasdaq 8,153.58 62.67 0.77%
GlobalDow 2,580.52 38.58 1.52%
Gold 1,732.80 48.50 2.88%

Time to hit the high trails of SW Virginia — with camera in hand 8)
Bears, turkey, and deer abound — and thankful for a few acres & trail
so I can go outside & continue planting “victory garden”

May better days be ahead in the month of May
Make most of each day in positive spirit & patiently

We all may even become “hippies” here
as no one in state of VA is allowed to cut hair
as we are litterally on “house arrest” until JUNE 10th

Thank goodness I had a good trim in early March as mine is getting longer πŸ˜†
and even beard has emerged — but do try to shave once a week

and one day we will all be sheared like the sheep on WALL ST πŸ˜‰ :woohoo:
Ohhhhh the humanity πŸ˜†

GOOD FRIDAY morning to all …. Stock markets are closed today (thank goodness – lol) … wish all blessed and good holidays ahead … I think the photo of a natural cross I discovered is viewable as shared below …. and SNOWING now on top of mtn even – lol 8)

“FAKEBOOK” POST on CROSS shared below from SW VIRGINIA where the deer & buffalo roam — In cleaning up months after major ice storm in NOV 2018 on mtn. I discovered a tree that had split into a natural shape of cross at about 10 feet tall. After some minor trim work, I have planted some flowers & built a small “park” like area. A neat new place to come meditate & hope for better days ahead. And do wish all a blessed & safe Easter, Passover, and holy days ahead πŸ™‚

Happy Easter All – Enjoy your friends and family.
