Fed Bullard Hawking it up again:
“Risk is now that inflation won’t ease
Front loading hikes would send signal that Fed is serious about inflation control
Markets may be losing faith that inflation will abate”
Reminder Yesterday St. Louis Fed President Bullard (FOMC voter) maintained his hawkish bend
– Said wants rates to go to 3.5% by end of year & Fed shouldn’t rule out use of 75-basis-point rate increases, according to Bloomberg.
