ParticipantIts the future for sure. Court cases in Oz take 2-3 yrs to be heard. Lives affected, businesses. Regional Magistrates Courts could strongly benefit, cost savings a plus. Quicker justice.

ParticipantYes indeed – it is the lawyers game to bill the hours – that is what holds this back in the west as the author alluded too. The fact China has taken the lead in this underscores that handbrake.

KeymasterSpeedy resolution would make it more affordable, more efficient and timely – unfortunately a great move by China n those counts – of course there are the doubts about ‘true fairness’
Fort he west you would think would be a logically move, good to see Canada making a move int hat direction. Unfortunately who is the big loser out of this shift, lawyers and who run so much in the U.S. and most of the west?
