    China’s July food prices jumped 9.1% consumer staples…

    China’s consumer inflation in September rose 3%, the fastest since 2013. Pork prices were up 69%. With pork is a staple in the Chinese diet, the African swine fever effect is hurting the consumer after it devastated the pig population in China, driving up the price of pork. Also an increase in the price of fruit, has pushed inflation up in China.

    It’s not just food prices that are going up. Housing prices are still going up with education and health care
