Nissan Motor Co. statement revealing cheating on fuel economy and exhaust emissions tests.
The company said they uncovered the findings after conducting an internal review; it found that some inspectors used altered measurement values on emissions inspection reports, while some tests “deviated from the prescribed testing environment.”
