Personally I try to avoid IPOs
Venture Capitalist and Angel Investors are getting in much sooner than when a company would do the “hard work” to get the company off the ground. Now it seems like business community rewards an idea with the risk of money.
Back in my day, people had to prove the company was viable before it went to the equities market, now its being used as a vehicle to cash out.
