Equity indices in the Asia-Pacific region ended Thursday on a mixed note. The Bank of Japan will continue offering to buy unlimited amounts of 10-yr JGBs until Tuesday. Japan’s Finance Minister is expected to meet with his U.S. counterpart today. An extra budget will be compiled by Japan’s government. South Korea’s exports through the first 20 days of April were up 16.9% yr/yr with chip exports increasing 22.9%.
